Apparently Com2uS hasn't learned their lesson. After releasing the app "Slice It" they were blasted for taking information from devices including phones and excessive permissions. At one point they had even asked for detailed information about current or recently running activities. They acknowledged that they did it and stated that since so many people have taken issue with excessive permissions their team was working on editing this immediately.

Why a developer needs all of these permissions are unclear to many people since they are not needed to operate the game in single player mode. I spent more time trying not to register and reading legal notices and trying to not create a nickname than I did playing the game.

Excessive permissions means a backdoor into your device is possibly left open and data can be taken. You should be careful as apps can possibly take peaks at your private and sensitive data without your knowledge. Another question is why is the game listed as 15.2 MB but actually is 23.39 MB?

Make a single player game and get rid of the permissions and you have a winner! If I don't have to log in and create a nickname then I don't have to worry about reading your legal disclaimer. It is a shame that a game with other great attributes has to damage itself with these excessive permissions:

Ads in app to buy upgrades.

Constant requests to log in and create a nickname.
