Like the previous reviewer I agree that Springpad is a great app. It's a combination of the Amazon Remembers feature and some things that are great about Evernote. There are some differences between Evernote and Springpad and at the time I use both with Evernote being the better of the two for me but Springpad seems to be gaining some momentum with it's features. Evernote has some advantages like being able to snap of photo of anything with text on it and it'll convert the text so it's searchable, plus when you search they produce results in realtime which makes it faster than Springpad. However, Springpad has some features that are killer too like taking nicely integrating information about books and movies that you come across so you can easily pull them up later. However, while the mobile app is certainly pretty it requires more steps to enter data than Evernote and that bothers me. I like the simplicity of Evernote, click, type and I'm done. With Springpad I have to do multiple steps. Where Springpad really shines is their web and desktop apps. They are simply fantastic and allow features likes clipping snippets of webpages (I love that).

In the end, if you use the web/desktop version of Springpad the mobile app is worth it. However, if you're more of a mobile user and prefer a more quick and simple approach to notes than Evernote is the better of the two. I think in time Evernote will adopt some of the neater features of Springpad but Springpad will need to adopt the feature set and approach that has made Evernote so successful if they're going to win my exclusive use.
